Since 1997, we've been getting together for two weeks each summer in Northern VERMONT: to study Shakespeare's most awesome plays, and to work our hearts, minds, bodies, and voices to such a fever pitch that our three final performances resonate in the minds of EVERYONE (players, staffers, audience members, everyone!) for the other fifty weeks of the year!

PETER GOULD is one half of Gould & Stearns, the CLOWN JEWELS OF VERMONT. Peter has a PhD in literature, and has done more than 4000 live theatre performances and classes all over the world. Doing Shakespeare with Peter is why we call it the Funnery!
